Accounts Receivable - Customer Statements

Customer Statements


This guide explains how to run the customer statements at the end of the month.

Note: Before running the customer statements, please make sure that all payments from the previous months have been processed in Pronto Xi.


Under Accounts Receivable go to:
  1. AR Forms
  2. Customer Statements

The Customer Statement screen will be displayed.



In the Report Options area, enter through to Print Zero Balances.

Note: If you do not want to print out $0.00 statements, please enter an N in the “Print Zero Balances field.

In the “Close-Off Date field”, enter the last date of the period ending. In this example, we are running statements for January 2021.



The next area to be completed is the Report Ranges area. If you are running for all customer accounts enter through. 

Note: If you need to print out the statement for a range or only one account, you could use the Start Account and End Account fields.

The last section to be completed, is the Statement Messages area. You can here customise any message that you would like to appear on the customer statements.

Below is the Customer Statements screen completed.

Press Enter to run the statements.

The Processing Options screen will be displayed. Press OK. 

An “I” means that the statements will be generated immediately.

The below screen will be displayed while the customer statements are being generated.


The following pop-up will be displayed when all customer statements have been generated.

Press Ok. 

You will be taken back to the main screen in Pronto Xi.

Now to view the spool file for the Statements, press F5 to display the Report Manager.



Click on List as shown above.

Select the Customer Statement spool file.  Click on Other menu.



The Printers screen will be displayed.



To email the statements out select “email_out”. The emails will be emailed out to the email addresses set up on the Customer account. Any account without an email address will be emailed to you to print out. 

When asked if you want to remove the report, click No. It is helpful to keep them for reference.
