Inventory – Build/Merge Function

This function allows you to build multiple components in to a completed unit, with the cost calculating up.

Go to Inventory > Inventory Transactions > Build/Merge Items (INV.T012)

Enter the Item you are making, warehouse they are going in to, a Reference, Reason Code (Suggest CV), and Markup Type (P = Percentage, V = Value), Markup Amount and Qty going in.

If a Bill of Materials is loaded, it will prompt to load the components from the BOM.

If no BOM is pre loaded, enter the components you want to remove to complete the build in total, not per unit.

Select Quit

After this select Update.

This will combined the component cost into the total cost of the collective units made and make the relevant stock adjustments.
