Company store interim Warranty Process
Use WIQ to book the car in
and select the Warranty Service Item, entering details of the issue into the
comments field.
Once diagnostics have been done,
the failed Item code can be added to the WTY comments field.
The job can be checked out to
POS and the customer receives a new invoice, this starts the warranty term
again on this part also.
The warranty part is then
transferred back to the state warehouse, which corrects inventory used at store
level, and should be attached to the goods as well.
