Creating an auto print inbox rule

In this example we setup an inbox rule to print emails & attachments that have the word "statement" in either the subject line or in the body of the email.

NOTE: This will send print jobs to the default printer.

In Outlook, select Rules > Create rule > Advanced Options


Select Advanced Options


Select your Initial Rule Conditions, you can set custom conditions on most of the options also, click Next


Select the action for your rule, click Next


Add any exceptions, if required, Click Next


Add a name for the rule and click finish.
 

To allow automatic printing of attachements, click File > Print


Select Print Options


Tick the box for "Print attachment files. Attachments will print to the default printer only."


To save this setting you need to click print.

Your inbox will now automatically print emails & attachments with the word "statement" in the subject line or the email body.
