Data uploads – Franchisee datasets 

Once the files are released to load you will get an email as below, showing that the files are saved in the SharePoint directory for you to upload.  

PS. These assume that all MDM data have been replicated to franchisee dataset prior to uploads, and Warehouse, Territory & Rep codes setup.  

 

All CSV files should be down loaded to local drive, C:\tmp

  1. Stock Level Report CSV upload 

  1. Inventory copied via MDM should be moved to Fran-warehouse  (eg.333 ) 

Maintain Bulk Codes INV.M170  - Whse mode and then create all items for whse  eg.,511. Where it asks to copy from whse, just leave blank. Ie., you are copying items to new warehouse from default data-copy warehouse. 

 

 

 

  1. Create Stock Take for warehouse  

  1.  

  1. Select warehouse and keep all other fields as defaults (just hit enter for all) 

  1.  

 

  1. Load Stock Level CSV 

  1.  

  1. Select Stock take code and hit Esc to move out from the menu, above will come up. 

  1. Select Stock Level CSV which should be saved in C:\tmp 

  1.  

  1. Check if any errors – send screenshot & error file (saved as html) to Wayne 

  1. Run report INV.07 – compare value, send copy to Trevor 

  1. Await Trevor’s OK to go ahead to update GL 

  1. Add dataset to Appservices #15 & #8 

  1. Update Stocktake – INV.T023 

  1.  

  1. Wait 5 mins, for appservices to update GL streaming, run INV.04 (stock value) 

  1. Check Stocktake to see if updated, if still Frozen then re-run update INV.T023
