Handy Tip 12 - Filter searching in a Data Grid V1


Filter searching in a Data Grid

Data Grids can contain thousands of lines and various data, creating and saving a Filter search is a great way of repeating the same search each time, in that particular Data Grid, if the Data Grid is used in different locations the saved searches will still apply. 


Step 1. With the Data Grid open, decide which column of data you wish to search for e.g. if in an inventory Data Grid, you may wish to search for TrackRyder product listings, click on the header of the column and select filter









2. With the search screen open, enter the description of your search, and click Temporary


You also have other options available by clicking on the Comparison field and selecting another option.


When you have your results, you can now save them as a saved search.  

3. Click on the Save icon, and name your search, then save it




The next time you access this Data Grid, click the drop-down arrow in the Current View field to show all your saved options, including the original standard view.
