Handy Tip 4 - Moving columns in a Data Grid V1


Moving columns in a Data Grid

When you are in a data grid, you may not be able to see all of the columns in the data grid unless you use the slide function along the bottom of the data grid, you have the option to rearrange to the columns to your personal settings, and also the width of the column.


Step 1. Click on the top field of the column to bring up the Reorder Columns option, and click on it,



The Reorder Columns grid will appear, simply click and drag the columns to your preferred order, click OK to save.

  

If you wish to narrow the columns, use the mouse at the top junction between fields, when you see the arrows, you can drag the column smaller or larger.

To restore the data grid size and order click on the Restore button

 

The Data Grid is now restored to normal
