Some fields in header screens can have the input set as a default, they mostly have blue highlighted font in the field indicating user input, to allow less keyboard inputs by the user when doing the same procedure repetitively, you can set the correct input as a default, accordingly you can also reverse the default if required, in this instance we are defaulting the Warehouse field in Purchase Orders to 100 (
You will need to be in the field to set it to a default, the field will also need to be highlighted, if the value in the field is correct, press the Ctrl key down, and right click on your mouse, the Set as Default window will then open, simply click on Set as Default,
If you have F2 Look Up options, select the correct option and then set it as the default.
To reverse the default, press the Ctrl key down, and right click on your mouse, and click Clear Default, the field will now highlight again as you enter through the field.
