How to change a Line Price Discount by Percentage or Dollar amount in Point of Sale
The Line Price/Discount button can be used to adjust the line price by percentage and dollar amount
1. Highlight the sale line you wish to apply the price change to, Click on the Line Price/Discount button to open the adjustment window
2. There are now three options to adjust the Line Price, use Tab to move to the other fields, NOTE, the selling price does not need to be changed if using Discount rate or discount amount fields.
A. Direct edit the sell price
B. Edit by percentage
C. Edit by Dollar amount
3. At the conclusion you will be asked for a reason why you are adjusting the line price, a table of reasons is available to choose from using the Search Look Up, or free text directly into the Field.
