Steps to take when you have clicked on a Phishing email

If you have accidently clicked on the link the following is suggested:

  1. Don’t enter any date (i.e. try logging in)
  2. Do a full scan on your computer (see details below)
  3. Change passwords (log a ticket so I can work through the accounts you have and assist).
  4. Make sure you have a backup of your files (OneDrive, SharePoint and Exchange is backed up for you)
Full Scan using Cisco Secure Client:
  1. In the bottom right-hand corner of your Windows screen select the up arrow to show software running in the background (if you do not have this contact support).


  2. Select the icon for Cisco Secure Client.


  3. The Cisco Secure client program box will pop up.

  4. Select the downward arrow and select full scan.


  5. Select the Start Button.

  6. The software will run a full scan of the PC. Leave the software to run in the background.
