Top of screen disappears / is blank when using Chrome browser
This seems to be happening over the past few weeks (May 2022) - the quick 'fix' is just press function key 11 (F11) and it will make the browser change to full screen mode, then press F11 again to change it back into 'normal' mode with the address bar and buttons etc. as per usual.
The slightly more involved permanent fix seems to be this:
Click your Windows button down the bottom left of your screen
and type intel - it should find something like INTEL HD GRAPHICS or INTEL GRAPHICS COMMAND CENTER as shown below:
click the INTEL GRAPHICS app link and it should open a program like this:
click the DISPLAY option, second from the top and then on the new screen we're looking for an option about SCALE - set the scale option to 'Maintain Display Scaling' or 'Scale Full Screen' - depending on which option you have. You will then need to click on the second screen in the control panel and select the same option for your second screen.
Exit the app when finished.
