OKTA account activation and first login

When your OKTA account is first created you will receive an email welcoming you to OKTA, click the "Activate Okta Account" button to get started on setting up your account.

      

2. Create a password for your OKTA account, making sure to stick to the requirements or your password will not be accepted.

      

3. Select a "forgot password question" and create an answer to that question (the answer must be minimum 6 characters)

      

Alternatively if you dont like any of the above questions you can create your own.

      

4. Select a picture for your security image. (this is another security function, when you are signing into OKTA you will see this image displayed, if you do not, the page you are signing into may be fraudulent.

      

5. Once your password and password reset question have been set you will then be taken to the web dashboard, you can choose to take the tour or skip

      

6. Your browser may have the OKTA plugin, if so once you have signed into the Web Version the plugin should already be signed in.

            If your browser does not already have the plugin, you can install it by following the steps in this document HOW TO - Download and install OKTA browser plugin (pedders.com.au)

      

You should now be able to use OKTA either through the Web Version or through the Browser Plugin.
