8x8 Call using Desktop Phone through Desktop App

You can receive and make calls using the desktop app and route the call through to your deskphone's handset/headset.

1. Select the PC Icon found on the 8x8 app:

2. Select Deskphone down below




3. That's it. Close the window by pressing the X. Incoming calls will appear on your computer, and when accepted the call will come through to your Deskphone's hand piece or headset. 

You can also dial a number using the desktop app, and the call will initiate through your deskphone. The phone screen will light up, and when you select Answer on the phone the call with begin dialing.
