Assigning Call forwarding options
Open the 8x8 desktop app.
Select your icon in the top left corner.
Select Call forwarding.
You will be taken to your 8x8 user profile where you can edit your call forwarding settings.
**If you have not already, sync your calendar to enable automatic update of your status to take further advantage of these rules and options**
Click the pencil to edit a forwarding rule and you can set where the call will be directed to in that situation.
**to forward to a mobile, select "Forward directly to", enter the mobile number but be sure to click on the box that appears, or the forward will not be enabled”.
You can also create a custom rule if none of the other options suit your needs.
