8x8 Desktop Call Transfer Options
-Warm Transfer-
1. Answer the call.
2. Select Transfer
3. Search for the contact to transfer to
4. Select Warm Transfer
5. This will call the person you are transferring to so you can announce the call and confirm
their availability before sending the call through.
6. Once you have confirmed with the transferee select the transfer button to send the call
through.
-Cold Transfer-
1. Answer the call.
2. Select Transfer
3. Search for the contact to transfer to
4. Select Cold Transfer
5. The call will be put straight through with no further action required.
-Transfer to Voicemail-
1. Answer the call.
2. Select Transfer
3. Search for the contact to transfer to
4. Select Transfer to Voicemail
5. The call will be put straight through with no further action required.
