Brake, Steering and Suspension Check – SFC Analysis Report
The SFC Analysis report provides vital data to measure the value and conversion rate of a Brake, Steering and Suspension Check. (BSSC) this report can be used for single and multi-site stores.
It is critical for accuracy of the data that the correct Service Item be used in Pronto XI and Workshop IQ. This being either the BRAKE STEERING AND SUSPENSION CHECK or COMPLIMENTARY BSSC/SAFETY CHECK
The BSSC Service item is to be used when a vehicle is booked in solely for the purpose of getting a BSSC report.
The Complimentary BSSC Service item is to be used when a vehicle is booked in for a wheel alignment or repairs and a BSSC is also carried out.

SFC Analysis Report – How to read the report.
The SFC Analysis Report provides the store valuable data in the total amount of BSSC’s done at the store over a set period along with the value and conversion percentage with Success and Follow Up data. The report also shows the customer Account, Name, Phone Number and email address.
Total BSSC – The amount of BSSC’s done over the set period
Total Success – The successfully converted BSSC’s into sales revenue
Conversion rate – The percentage of converted BSSC’s into sales revenue
Total Revenue – The Total Revenue raised from successful BSSC’s
Average Value per BSSC – The average value including non-successful BSSC’s
Average value per Success - The average value for successful BSSC’s
Conversion Follow Up – A customer has paid $28.00 on the day and has future booked the BSSC repairs
Conversion Success - The customer was booked for a BSSC and had repairs carried out on the same day

To schedule a Report in COGNOS, run the report with the settings you want. Important to note that for date ranges you want to use things like “Last Month” and “Yesterday” as opposed to specific dates.
In Order to Schedule a report, first run the report you want to schedule with the settings you want.
Then click the 3 dots in the top right of your COGNOS window and click Subscribe.
Repeat On: This section only gives the option to repeat on a weekly state – this can be moved to monthly later)
Format: Choose how you want the report sent to you. Eg. If you want an Excel file sent to you, you would have as below:
Then Click Create.
Editing a Subscription
If you want to make an amendment to the settings for the subscription, go to your My Content folder, then Subscriptions.
Hover over the Report you want to edit, and click the 3 dots for More settings:
Choose Properties then Schedule and then Edit. If you want to remove a subscription, just click Delete here and confirm it.
On this new Screen there are 3 tabs: Schedule, Options and Prompts.
Schedule allows you to change the frequency of when the Report gets run. Eg. Change Type to Month and have it run a sales report for the previous month on the 1st of each month.
Options allows you to change format of the reports, add extra recipients to the email.
Prompts allows you to view the values for all the prompts you have selected. If you want to change these, you can click the icon in the top right to edit your prompts.
Credentials
When you have scheduled reports, its important to keep your COGNOS Credentials up to date. Specifically, any time you change your OKTA password you need to resync your COGNOS password.
To do so, once you are in COGNOS, click the Person icon top right of your window, and then choose My Preferences
Go to Personal and then Advanced and then click Renew next to Credentials.
