Checking Leave Balances through MyPay & Leave


  1. To check your leave balances in MyPay & Leave, once you’ve logged onto the system, your homepage will show a section on the left-hand side called “My Leave Balances (hours) as at the date of the last pay-run ending date.

The important column to note is the far-right column saying “Owed”. This is your true balance as at the end of the current pay-period.


  1. There is another spot which shows you your leave balance as well as seeing what your future leave will look like at certain dates. This part is to the right of your screen, called “My Leave Estimates”. For people managers, this section for you will likely be in middle of your screen.

  1. If you like you can put a future date in, then press “Go” to see what your leave balances will look like at that specific date in the future. 

This is particularly useful when planning a holiday in the future to ensure you will have enough leave by then.

If you have future leave booked it will show in the right “Pending & Approved leave after estimation date” column. See below, a future leave request in the system.

The total hours for the leave will show in the far-right column.

Looking at the future date after the leave has occurred you will see the balance will have considered the leave taken, plus the leave that you will accrue over that time.
