What is required to make this certificate “trusted”
When you perform a browser test:
- Click Not Secure
- Click Certificate

- Click on the Details tab

- Press Copy to File
- Press Next on the Welcome to the Certificate Export Wizard
- I selected Base-64 encoded X.509 (.cer)

- Select location to save file – I did browse > documents and called file LocalAgent

- Click Next and Finish – Should say export was successful
- Open Manage user certificates – Click windows button and just type cert

- Navigate to Trusted Root Certificate Authorities > Certificates

- Right Click on Certificates > All Tasks > Import – This takes you to the Certificate Import Wizard

- On this device can only select current user – Click Next
- Browse to previously saved LocalAgent.cer file and click Next

- Leave option as Trusted Root Certification Authorities as the Certificate Store and click Next

- Click Finish and click Yes on pop up message – Should get a Import is successful message

Now do a browser test:

If the browser still says insecure, close ALL browser windows and try again.
No longer it is saying that the connection is not secure – click on the padlock

Connection now stating is secure and certificate is valid.
